Our team is made up of many health care professionals! We have doctors at the practice that all have their own areas of interest and expertise! 

 

They work hand in hand with the various Allied Health professionals to offer you holistic health solutions.

Dr. CJ Turner

MBBS

CJ graduated from Manchester University in 2003 and completed his post graduate training in Melbourne and the UK. He became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012. He has a keen interest in all dermatological conditions.  After gaining the diploma in Dermatology with distinction he worked part-time in the Dermatology Department at Salford Royal Hospital for 7 years. Besides his passion for dermatology he is also interested in Men's Health and Pediatrics.

He currently splits his clinical time between the Emergency Department at CGRH and at Ultimo Medical Practice. When not working he enjoys travelling and spending time with his wife and three young children.

Dr. Angela (Sanjeela) Uppal

MBBS

Angela graduated with a medical degree from the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2018. She has worked at several hospitals in the Northern Sydney, Central Coast and Sydney Local Health districts where she has experienced a range of medical, surgical and emergency terms, before entering general practice training.

Angela enjoys the diversity of general practice and is keen to support patients on their health journey. She welcomes all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, practices and identities.

When she is not working, she enjoys seeing Australia and would love to hear your suggestions to explore this beautiful land.

Dr. Nadia Clifton

M.D. (Hons) (UNSW), B Sci Med (UNSW), DCH (USYD), FRACGP

Nadia is a Family Medicine practitioner and a conjoint Lecturer at UNSW. Her specialities include Reproductive Medicine, Sexual Health, Mental Health, Addiction Medicine and Paediatrics.  She holds a diploma of Child Heath from the University of Sydney.  Dr Clifton is an Antenatal Shared Care GP and has affiliations with both the Royal Hospital for Women and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Dr. Alex Burmey

MD, AMC, FRACGP, Dip Derm (AID)

Alex trained at Chernivtsi State Institute of Medicine in Ukraine, gaining a qualification of Doctor of Medicine in 1993. After postgraduate training, he worked as a Trauma Surgeon. He has worked at several hospitals, including Liverpool, Fairfield and Braeside Hospitals.

 

Dr. Burmey is interested in all aspects of Family Medicine. His other interests include Skin Diseases and men’s health.  He has also completed advanced skin training with the Australian Institute of Dermatology.  

Alex is a Medicinal Cannabis prescriber for a range of chronic conditions. He is currently involved in QUEST cannabis study, run by Sydney University.

Dr. Burmey is participating in Antenatal Shared Care with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Canterbury Hospital.

Dr. Ali Raza

FRACGP, MBBS (Hons – Uni of Sydney), BSc Electrical Engineering (Cornell Uni), MSc Electrical Engineering (Uni of Pennsylvania)

Ali graduated in Medicine from The University of Sydney in 2008. He did his medical school training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before moving onto Westmead Hospital for Internship and Residency training.

His interests include Preventative Medicine, Men’s Health, Children’s Health, Musculoskeletal issues and alternative medical therapies.

Dr. Raza is participating in Antenatal Shared Care with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Canterbury Hospital.

Brett Lane

Physiotherapist

As a current practitioner for the St George Dragons junior representative teams, he has experience with sporting teams and individuals with many types of injuries. He also has experience with many other sports including soccer, AFL, cricket and netball locally and their common knee, ankle, hamstring and other soft tissue injuries.

Brett believes in a holistic approach to health, which can be maintained with physical activity and exercise including strengthening, stretching and stability. You will also be given thorough education and advice in regards to managing your injuries in the long term. This is complimented by experience in hands on treatment approach to help maintain pain free results long term.

Dr. David Harding

Clinical Psychologist

BA(Hons), MA, PhD

Dr. Harding is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years experience working in a variety of government and non-government community health and hospital settings. He provides assessment and treatment for both children and adults experiencing a variety of psychological difficulties including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, behavioural problems as well as the spectrum of trauma-related psychological problems.

Dr Harding held the position of Clinical Senior Lecturer, Discipline of Psychiatry, Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney. He currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Clinical Psychology, at Charles Sturt University. He has been involved in the establishment of mood disorder and specialized trauma-related treatment programs at a number of hospitals and consults to the world's largest disaster management company. He has been deployed to various major international disasters. He has also worked as a Senior Clinical Psychologist at a high severity and secure adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit.

Dr. Harding has been an Honorary Clinical Supervisor at the University of Sydney, Macquarie University and the University of Western Sydney. He has a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and obtained a PhD from the Western Sydney University School of Medicine.
